Details
UbE2Z is a member of the ubiquitin conjugating enzyme (E2) that specifically works with UBA6 (UBE1L2), but not UBE1, to transfer ubiquitin or the ubiquitin-like protein FAT10 to substrates. It is involved in regulation of apoptosis and protein degradation.
