Ubiquitin Vinyl Sulfone (Ub-VS) is a potent and irreversible inhibitor of UCH, USP and OTU families of deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs). It forms a covalent linkage with the active site Cys residue of a DUB. Ub-VS can be used to profile DUB and modify DUBs for structural determination.
