Rpn4 Rabbit mAb

Rpn4 is a chaperone protein for the assembly of the 19S regulatory complex (PA700). During the base subcomplex assembly it is part of an intermediate Rpn4:Rpt4:Rpt5 module. Rpn4 is released during the further base assembly process. Rpn4 was first characterized as a component of the PA700 proteasomal regulator, and was found to stimulate association of PA700 with the catalytic20S proteasome to form the active 26S proteasome.
