BAP1 Rabbit pAb

BAP1 is a UCH family member of DUBs. DUBs are categorized into 5 subfamilies: USP, UCH, OTU, MJD, and JAMM. BAP1 belongs to the ubiquitin carboxy-terminal hydrolase (UCH) family of DUBs. BAP1 binds to the breast cancer type 1 susceptibility protein (BRCA1) via the RING finger domain of the latter and acts as a tumor suppressor. In addition, BAP1 may be involved in regulation of transcription, regulation of cell cycle and growth, response to DNA damage and chromatin dynamics.
