Details
Geldanamycin is a selective inhibitor of heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) and its parplog GRP94. Binds to the ATP site of Hsp90/GRP94 (Kd = 1.2 μM) and inhibits their chaperone activity, which affects numerous downstream client proteins with roles in gene expression, cell proliferation, apoptosis and angiogenesis.
